Why is the trial release delayed?
I know many of you are waiting for the new WhizFolders Trial edition 6. The release date keeps slipping and I want to explain why. Here are some of the reasons:
- The trial version needs to be heavily protected against piracy or hacking. The protection software does not work that well on Windows Vista. We are still fighting with bugs and considering switching to other schemes.
- We want to give some way to evaluate the Deluxe edition features too and at the same time do not want to confuse the customers.
- If possible, we want to introduce a scheme for affiliates too.
Get Notified by Email: Many users asked for an email notification when the new trial is released. We do not want to directly send email through a mailing list. These days, it is too difficult to get the email out to customers. All kinds of spam filters create problems even for genuine messages. But we are now providing a Subscribe form on the top right that uses feedburner.com to send you notifications whenever a new post is made to this blog.
