Yes. To sort the list of topics by date, you should have the date as the first item on
the topic name. For example, if you are in USA, your topic
names would be something like:
3/7/2003 Some topic
2/1/2003 Some topic 1
2/2/2003 Some topic 2
The date format should be same as set up in your Windows
control panel. Once you have date as the first item
in topic names, do this:
- Click on Edit–Sort
- Select Sort On A Date.
- A dialog appears showing topics in that sequence. If you
think the sorting is correct, click on “Apply and Close.”
However, if you put the date as yyyy/mm/dd then you can even sort alphabetically and get away with it.
Another feature: You can automatically prefix date for the new
topic names by clicking on Settings–List–New names page. Please
select the appropriate date prefix there.
